Каждая девочка (а иногда и вполне себе взрослая тётенька или не тётенька вовсе) хотя бы раз
в жизни мечтает побыть невестой.
Той принцессой в пышном белом платье, частенько напоминающим необъятный торт.
Добрый гений кукольной промышленности Mattel, подаривший миру легендарную куклу Барби,
регулярно дает нам возможность насладиться всевозможными вариациями на тему свадеб и
невест в частности.
Первые свадебные сеты вышли в далеком 1964 году. Это были Fashion Queen Barbie & Ken Trousseau
Set, состоящий из Кена и паричковой Барби, в набор аутфитов которых входила свадебная пара и
отдельный праздничный выпуск Barbie's Wedding Party Set, состоящий из 4-х кукол.
Помятуя о главной маркетинговой линии Mattel, нельзя не упомянуть, что образ невесты впервые
использовался при выпуске не куклы, а аутфита.
Cразу же в 1959 году выпускается аутфит Wedding Day, копию которого впоследствии использовали
при выпуске Wedding Day Bride Barbie в 1997 году.
На сегодняшний момент, пожалуй, самым известным остается мега-сет Midge Wedding Party,
состоящий сразу из 6 кукол.
Примечательно, что каждую из кукол можно было купить также отдельно.
Свадебная тематика дает огромный простор для фантазии. И этот факт не могли обойти своим вниманием
многие именитые дизайнеры, создавшие для Барби эксклюзивные аутфиты.
Только на 2011 год анонсированы уже четвертая по счету Barbie Vera Wang Bride от признанного маэстро
свадебного платья Веры Вонг и интригующая Silkstone Bride Grace Kelly Doll в неменее шикарном туалете.
